By accessing or using CompassHR (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CompassHR provides AI-powered HR career guidance, including career matching, skills assessment, gap analysis, interview preparation, and CV tailoring. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes on others’ rights.
  • Reverse engineer or extract the underlying AI prompts or models.
  • Automate access to the Service beyond reasonable personal use.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software provided by CompassHR are our property or licensed to us. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., CV text, profile data). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

Career matches, gap analyses, interview questions, and other outputs are generated by artificial intelligence. They are suggestions and should not replace professional career counseling, legal advice, or human judgment. We do not guarantee employment outcomes.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompassHR and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months, or $50 if you used a free tier.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CompassHR operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
